This is for out of warranty units which have been diagnosed to require service or are incompatible with a new or upgraded system. This program allows you the opportunity to purchase a replacement product discounted from the list price. If the printer is out of warranty, you would qualify for the Canon Upgrade Program. If the printer is still in it's 1 year warranty from purchase date and you have a copy of the paper or online receipt, please contact our support group at 1-800-OK-CANON (1-80), Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM EST. If that does not resolve the issue the printer would need to be replaced. After 60 seconds plug the power cord back in and power on the printer. While the power is off, press the power button 5 times. While the printer is on, unplug the power cord from the printer and let it sit for 60 seconds. I recommend performing a reset of the printer.
